(More customer reviews)I bought this to try making venison jerky last week. It's extremely well-made and should last many years. You simply fill the tube with your meat mixture and squeeze it on to your dehydrator or drying rack like caulk. My dehydrator took forever and gave inconsistent results, so I tried the oven. The recommended 200 degrees for 2 hours will make the jerky pretty crispy, but still edible. I prefer the oven, but I may shorten the time for the next batch.
