(More customer reviews)Previously had the Brinkmann Gourmet electric model.Element broke in several pieces after snowstorm (damn Colorado weather).Found this unit on sale @ Gander Mountain.Really didn't want a gas smoker, but the price for the smoker size was unbelieveable.Cooked a bison tenderloin & a smoked salmon earlier, both to perfection.Am trying some baby-back ribs now, but am having a little difficulty maintaining the 225-250 range for long-term smoking.I'm sure it's the devil in the details, and I'll work it out once I've perfected the heat vs. the vents.The size is extraordinary, and will work very nice as I will add a brisket, salmon and 4 more racks of ribs to the unit later...all at once.Finally, a smoker that can handle the workload that I occasionally have.

(More customer reviews)I was a real fan of this line of dog treats until one day, I noticed on the back of the bag, the fine print, that read, "MADE IN CHINA". How can a dog treat that states cage free chickens and all natural come from China? Its rare to hear of a cage free chicken coup in China of all places. And the standards of inspection are quite lax to say the least. I have since found better alternatives that I can be more comfortable in giving my dog, such as Plato Natural Organic Chicken made here in the USA.

(More customer reviews)I have thoroughly enjoyed having this slicer.I make bread and other methods of slicing have not been completely satisfactory.I want thinner slices to reduce calories and make the loaves last longer.This slicer does the trick.You can't just run the slicer easily back and forth with bread, you have to manually return the bread to the starting position, but that's no big deal.Sometimes the bottom crust catches between the blade and the housing and you have to pull it out gently without breaking the bread - but that isn't a big problem either.This is just so much better than other things I have tried, and without spending hundreds of dollars (or more) on a professional slicer.Well worth the money, wouldn't want to be without it.

(More customer reviews)I'm just starting to make my own sausage, and this all-inclusive package seemed like a good way to begin.But do not be fooled.It is complete JUNK.The meat grinder is unbelievably poorly made.It's made of very heavy metal, but it appears to have been coated with some sort of extremely shiny metallic paint.It's all very rudimentary - the parts look like they were very roughly molded, and they barely fit together.And they barely come apart again too.I've seen many old hand-operated meat grinders, and there's something nice about their simplicity.But this grinder is really just a junky, budget import.The sausage seasoning kits are also awful.They don't include any indication of ingredients - who knows where they came from or what's in them - just little unmarked paper packets.And the instructions are so basic, they're useless.The kit also includes a jerky "gun" which is very much like a giant cookie press.I have not used it yet, but I don't think I'll bother.This product is worthless.It's just out of it's box, but it's going straight to Goodwill.

Not too messy. If you can find them for an average of $3 per bone, that's a gooddeal. I was lucky and had free shipping on my order. I've already reordered another case!!!

(More customer reviews)I had doubts about spending so much money on dog treats--but I have a toy poodle who has severe skin allergies triggered by just about every food type out there--so I have to be careful about what I feed him. On top of that, he's an extremely picky eater. He refuses just about every snack I give him. So I experimented by getting these. Not only do they not trigger his allergies whatsoever, but he absolutely loves these (he'll dance in circles to get a piece). The sticks are about the length of your hand and pretty narrow (width of a drinking straw). For my small dog, I break them into smaller pieces so they last longer. They're a little chewy, a little crisp--easy to eat and digest (or so it seems from watching my dog). And strangely enough, they smell good. Most dog treats make me want to gag from the smell--these smell like I could eat them. I get these regularly now.

(More customer reviews)These are the best treats for your dog.I have a very finicky Shih Tzu who thinks she is the Queen of England and is very fussy about food.She will not touch "dog food" and the only dog treats she will eat are the ones made by Pet 'n Shape.Amazon's price for these is the lowest anywhere online.The best price I got the last time I ordered them was $12 for each 16oz container based on an order of 6.That I got them for $1.40 less for each container with free shipping was positively amazing.I seem to be doing most of my shopping on Amazon these days and I think Amazon is the best.

(More customer reviews)SmokeHouse puts out some pretty good treats for the dogs.These are not my dogs' favorites though.They ate them but did not wait for more like they do for their other products.It's a soft chew for dogs who have problems with hard foods and a good size bag for the money.I'd say try one order and see if your dog likes them.Mine are very finicky....may not honestly represent the product as they all have different tastes and preferences.
