Other styles blow air from the bottom, therefore up through the layers, creating moist air conditions at the top racks.I don't trust that for safe food preservation. This unit is fast, fast, fast! And it is easy to clean.The fruit/veggies maintain beautiful colors and flavors.Highly recommend this unit.
