(More customer reviews)I received the stuffer within 2 weeks of ordering which is great considering I'm located in Australia...and couldn't believe how little postage and handling cost me.

Unfortunately it's down hill from there....after giving it a good wash and clean this morning I discovered the black plastic part that holds the sausage filler tube to the body of the stuffer has several cracks in it, which of course makes the entire machine unusable.

Quality control needs to be improved before items like this are packaged and sent.

Hopefully I can source something locally to replace this part, so at this point I can't say I'm overly happy with my purchase as I haven't been able to use it.

Bradley Digital 4- Rack Smoker Review

Every piece of sheet metal is sanded on the edges, no cuts from sharp edges.
Easy to put together, no more difficult than putting together a refrigerator.
Quiet as a refrigerator too.

Read the instructions and season it first as directed.

You will need extra wood pellets. It does not come with any in the box, so order some extras. Each pellet lasts about 20 minutes.Bradley Apple Bisquettes 48 pack
NOTE: you have to put at least 4 pellets in the stacker to get it to burn 1 pellet. Just the way it works. I put in two pellets and nothing smoked. It needs 4 pellets to push the pellets along the tray to the burner. Not a problem, just try to remember that 3 of the pellets won't burn.
So, if you want to cook for 4 hours you need: 3 pellets per hours x 4 hours = 12 pellets + 3 pellets to get them to burn plate = 15 pellets.

I tested a Butterball Turkey Breast first. I followed the Bradley instructions in their cookbook Bradley Recipe Book Volume 1 for the turkey cooking temperatures. I used their glaze recipe under the skin. I also used a wireless remote meat thermometer Oregon Scientific AW131 Grill Right Wireless Talking BBQ/Oven Thermometer feed the probe wire through the roof vent of the smoker. I used the apple pellets from Bradley Apple Bisquettes 120 pack

I sat back and waited. A few hour later the Oregon Scientific AW131 Grill Right Wireless Talking BBQ/Oven Thermometer began to chirp "almost done" "Almost done". The wireless thermometer is great because I was smoking the week of Thanksgiving and it was in the 30's outside so not having walk out to the smoker to check the meat was ideal. (My wife was concerned about the smoker being able to maintain cooking temperature in the cold outside. This smoker was stable, the temperature stayed steady. the outside of the unit did not get hot to the touch, except around the smoke vent which is to be expected.)

I used a Taylor Analog Instant-Read Dial Thermometer to verify the temperature of the meat when the wireless told me it was done. Both thermometers were within a degree of each other.

I took the turkey breast out of the smoker and let it rest for about an hour. The color was extremely golden skin. Not black or Smokey but as if was dipped in golden lacquer. A gorgeous turkey breast. No burnt places, not excess smoke, perfect. When I carved the Turkey breast it was as moist as a wet sponge. Unbelievably tasty, nothing like store bought smoked turkey. The taste of the turkey was like that of caviar compared to fish sticks, it was rich, smooth and wonderful.

This smoking robot works. Just add a Oregon Scientific AW131 Grill Right Wireless Talking BBQ/Oven Thermometer to you don't have to walk outside and let it do its job.

Also, we ran the smoker on our back porch, about 10 feet from the house. It only exhausts a small amount of smoke while working. It did not look like a fire at the, just a little smoke, less than the steam from a tea kettle. If you cheat and peak while it is cooking you will get your clothes smoked and have to change for dinner, but the smoke from the smoker did not get into the house otherwise.

Easy to setup, easy to control and easy to cook with. Oh, the trays are 11x15 so you could put a 12-14 pound turkey in it. Next is a Roast, Ribs and some Cheeses. The Bradley Recipe Book Volume 1 also includes recipes for cheese, fruit, and more. Just follow the instructions and be patient. It can do both hot and cold smoking.

I assume that they came from different suppliers. The contents of two of the bags was very different from what we've always gotten in the past.The treats were dark brown with a decidedly acrid smell.The dog won't touch them - they seem somehow fermented. We are now reluctant to order, since we can't be sure if we'll get the "good treats" or the "bad treats."

(More customer reviews)I have used my new Reveo MariVac multiple times on pork roasts, London broil beef (grilled), and whole roast chicken. Recipes are provided for fish and vegetables as well, but I have not tried these yet. The MariVac is easy and fun to use. Just put up to four pounds of meat in the clear acrylic tumbler with your marinade of choice, let the MariVac evacuate the air inside the tumbler (takes 90 seconds), and have the MariVac tumble the food for up to 20 minutes. Roast food is extremely juicy after just 15-20 minutes of MariVac tumbling. Combining MariVac's system with a good meat thermometer will reliably produce a perfect roast. In addition to the obvious time savings over marinating overnight, the short time that the meat is in liquid in the MariVac system avoids the mushy texture and bland color that slowly-marinated foods sometimes develop. Basically, you get a whole lot of liquid inside your meat, real fast. Your meat can gain up to 20% in weight.

There are, however, several disappointments. MariVac'd meats gain so much liquid weight that cooking time is extended (I found use of a meat thermometer essential). The MariVac does not significantly tenderize tough meat, so you can end up with moist-but-tough results if you start with a cheap piece of meat. The amount of flavor added is often less than I expected, particularly when using MariVac's overpriced and overhyped spice blends. I get much better flavor using citrus juice, olive oil, and fresh herbs from my garden. The cheaply printed cookbook/owner's manual is poorly constructed with many errors. For example, it says to remove the rubber seal on the lid and the tumbler lid will then be dishwasher-safe. This is false; the current tumbler design has a permanently affixed rubber seal and must be hand-washed. Another example: the cookbook says that marinades should contain oil, an acid, and spice (basically, a vinaigrette), but many of the cookbook recipes contain no oils while the same recipes provided with the spice mixes specify oils. So which is correct? The cookbook recipes contradict the general cookbook instructions, and conflict with the spice mix recipes. Also, two-thirds of the recipes in the cookbook specify Eastman's overpriced spice blends. This ingredient alone costs about $2-3 per use, so it's hard not to feel ripped off, as if the purchase of a $200 kitchen appliance is merely a lead-in to a lifetime of paying overpriced rates and shipping to wait a week and get a small bag of lemon pepper. Lastly, Eastman claims they'll send you samples of their spice mixes if you register your warranty on their website; I never got mine and had to order a set, which added annoying delay and another $35 to the startup cost.

Although I plan to keep my machine, I'd remind Eastman that slick website Flash animations and calling all your customer "Flavoristas" do not add up to providing customer value. I've spent $200 on your machine, give me recipes I can make when I open the box, not ones for which I must pay you more money to order ingredients (or at least put your spice blend samples in the box, c'mon guys!)...Eastman comes across as a bunch of "Greederistas."

(More customer reviews)Originally, these were made in US. Now made in China ( see back of bag) ... advertised as natural,cage free, no hormones, no fillers, no antibiotics ...HUH? Not in China... I will not trust these as safe treats. Follow up:My dogs vomited after they ate these. 3/09 original warnings from FDA 2007 re: chicken product from China... a follow up was issued by the FDA again on 12/18/08 to remain vigilant and of concern if fed to smaller dogs.
