I was turned away by many other cat treats out there because they had too many fillers and things that cats do not need. These treats have the bare necessities. Meat, no by-products, or fillers. The treats are little squares that are not hard as rock, but somewhat moist. They do not have a potent smell, but enough to attract my cat. She enjoys eating them, and I an enjoy feeding them to her.

I will defiantly continue to feed these to my cats. I'll probably even try out some of the other varieties, which I hope to have the same success.

I've found that instead of dripping into the little plastic tray, the grease runs down the curved bottom of the grill and eventually creates a big mess of the counter-top. I really wish I had gone a size bigger. If you are planning to grill decent sized chicken breasts, you have to do it one piece at a time. Finally, it heats very unevenly. Place two burgers on it at the same time and the burger on the right will be slightly burnt while the left burger is barely done. All these things combine into me using this maybe once a month if that, because I don't want to be bothered with the mess and inconvenience.

(More customer reviews)After buying my 16 year old cat a bunch of different natural cat treats for Christmas for her to try, these were the only duds.They sounded like they'd be great but, as another reviewer pointed out, some cats have issues figuring out how to eat these - that would be my cat.She'd pick one up and it'd drop back out of her mouth onto the floor and then she'd leave it there and walk away or stare at the cabinet until I gave her something else, which is quite rare because normally she happily gobbles up most of the treats I give her right away.She also wasn't enticed by the scent of these as with the other treats I got her, where she was licking the packaging or meowing to have some, and these she seemed like she could care less.Hours later after she dropped the treats, she eventually went back and ate them but it seemed to be in a way that said, 'Meh, it's better than nothing.'I don't know if she doesn't like them because she's not used to jerky treats and will be in due time or if she just simply doesn't like the taste, but if she continues to be this unenthusiastic as we go through the rest of the package I won't buy them again.

Edited to add: After a couple more tries, my cat refuses to eat these at all.Didn't even make a dent in the package!Will give them away to another cat owner so they don't go to waste and hope they have better luck with them.

I first purchased a couple of smaller 4-inch bones from an all natural pet store, spending any where between $5 to $7 per bone. When I came on Amazon, I found this box of 12 from "Entirely Pets" and instantly purchased them.Not only were they bigger (7-inches) than the 4-inch bones, but now I could purchase a box of 12 for much less than what I would have normally spent in a retail store.These are great bones for dogs who chew.However, you may need to supervise your dog(s) depending on how well they are able to chew the actual bone.Both of my dogs will spend countless hours chewing on these bones.They are great if you need to get things done in the house and want to keep the dogs occupied.The discretion I suggest with supervision is because my dogs have been able to crack the bones.Their intent on doing so is to get the inside marro out and by crushing the bones, they succeed in this task.If this can occur with big dogs, it may occur for little dogs.It all depends on how strong of a jaw your dog(s) has.The other suggestion is, and since our dogs break the bones, is to take the bones away, especially if you'll leave the house.If they break the bones, they may choke on the pieces.We also use these bones as a deterrent outside so the dogs don't go after any tree branches that may fall in the yard.These two play well together and having a bone like this to play with is a great new toy for them.I highly recommend these bones and know your dog(s) will enjoy them as well.Buy in bulk and give a bone a week to your dog.They'll love you for it and also enjoy chewing them.

If your dog is an aggressive chewer they won't last long, but if your dog is a moderate chewer they will love them. They aren't greasy and they are really healthy. It's also easy to break up the treat if you think it's too long for them. I buy 30 of these every two months for my dog.
